Closure catch still functioning correctly with a high proportion of its paint intact.

A midwar German waterbottle in typical '43 construction.
With Olive green tin cup marked 'MN43' & red enamelled bottle marked ' SMM43' the screw cap is of black bakelite with cradle still in black leather. WW2 German Splinter Camouflage Grenade Bag
One only of the rare splinter camouflage stick grenade bags commonly regarded as specific issue to the German Fallschirmjager ( Paratrooper ) troops.
This bag has remnants down at the seam of the black central strap which would connect both bags together at top & bottom . Zip fastener to opening removed.

An all original German Army M43 cap that can be seen on pages 42 & 43 of the superb reference book 'Einheitsfieldmutze' by Oliver Lock.
A typical late war production piece with heavy cellulose & wool mix the trapezoid eagle is original to the cap this applied prior to the caps completion.
