German standard issue aluminium M31 messtin which has been decorated to the lid in a floral design incorporating the soldiers initials of 'BH'.
Maker marked & dated 'FWBN37' to lid with mostly illegible through wear maker to side of body . Wire handle intact.  read more

Scarce Waffen SS 'Soldatenfreund' diary for 1944 in used condition.
Contains some handwritten pencil entries with useful colour plates at rear identifying SS rank & headgear along with those of the Army & Luftwaffe. NSDAP collar tab chart at rear with picture of Himmler.
