WW2 German M31 Messtin With Soldiers Initials 1937/40

Standard German infantry messtin of the M31 issue with soldiers initials ' H M ' scratched into top & bottom. Retaining much of its original factory green paint the top is marked 'G&CL40' , the bottom marked 'FWBN37' .
