WW2 German MP40 Magazine Pouch 1942

A totally original 1942 dated MP40 magazine pouch with loading tool pouch to side . Holds three magazines for the MP40 sub machine gun.
Classic example In green canvas with brown leather fittings & belt loops to rear. Webbing D ring strap to side for attachment of Y straps. One belt loop marked with waffenamt & dated maker code of 'jsd 1942'. Second belt loop has faint traces of designation 'MP 38 u 40 ' denoting its compatibility with the magazines of either weapon.
Overall excellent display piece which has been used in WW2 . There are some stitch repairs & reinforcing in places to strengthen the weaker areas , not detracting from what is a totally original item.
