WW2 German MG Spare Barrel Carrier With 'LUX' Strap 1943

A classic item of infantry field gear being the Spare barrel case . This example was factory finished in the tan / dunkelgelb and then depot refinished in a dark slate grey with gun numbers applied by stencil in an off white . The Grey fine weave shoulder strap is attached with the classic multiple LUX marked fixtures . 1943 marked & dated to one end.
