WW2 German Luftwaffe M40 Three Tone Normandy Camouflage Helmet .

A stunning 3 toned Normandy Camouflage M40 Luftwaffe Steel helmet by ET in a size 64 .
The helmets outer shell shows a very nice subtle sprayed finish of reddish brown & green overlaying a base coat of "dunkelgelb" tan . This has been applied with high pressure spray equipment that is not uncommon in Luftwaffe use & typically used to camouflage vehicles in the 1944 NW Europe theatre. The whole camouflage finish has been laid over the factory dark blue grey with second pattern luftwaffe eagle visible under the paint when closely examined. Liner is good and supple with one small mouse chew . Liner band is firm in place and all pins are tight and unkinked having never been out of the helmet. There is a good and strong chinstrap with clear markings visible.
