WW2 German K98 Bayonet & Scabbard

Early example K98 bayonet with ricasso of blade marked 'S/172' & with '36' date to back of blade. Wood grips showing expected moderate wear with functioning pommel catch. A good amount of blueing remains to blade.
Scabbard dated 1940 & maker marked to Euf Horster.
