WW2 German Tan Camouflage Gas Mask & Canister

Rare tan camouflage German gas mask canister complete w all original carrying straps, mask & spare eye lenses.
The tan camouflage paint has been applied by pistol spray with the bottom of the tin still green. Most likely a number of these were stood up in a row & painted at the same time it being unnecessary to create more work by painting the bottoms as well. I have attached makro images of the paint. This is the early type of tin with latch , there is a 1936 date to spare lense compartment. Both long & short carrying straps are original to the tin this evidenced by the short belt hook being of green painted brass as per these 1936 dated productions. Gas mask itself is dated 1937 with eagle & swastika waffenamt marking to inner edge of facepiece. Fe 37 filter still has eagle & swastika marking & retains almost all of tis factory green paint.
