WW1 German Trench Knife - ERN Maker

WW1 German trench knife as carried by the German soldier in WW1 for use in close quarter trench combat as well as for utility purposes.
This example has a good seven grooved fruitwood handle with one side of blade marked to ricasso ' ERN WALD,RHEINL' the other ' Rasiermesser Fabrik ' .
Scabbard has a good proportion of its original black finish with black leather hilt strap intact.
