WW2 German Panzer Officers Wrapover Tunic 1939

Scarce 1939 dated black panzer wrapover tunic with early pink piped collar & officers pink piped shoulder boards bearing the numerals '6' to each side.
This is a classic issue quality wrapper that has been purchased from stores & officer tailored . Bearing the well known panzer wrapover maker ink stamp for 'Paul Opello & Co' with dice stamped size markings & date 1939 . It has depot prefix 'B' for Berlin. Breast eagle is a silver wired version typical for officers with original collar tabs & skulls still machine stitched in place. Interior has a partial grey twill lining this having been altered slightly with the removal of the back piece ties & a black sateen back piece fitted with striped material placed inside the arms. Interestingly the button holes can still be felt underneath the altered cuff where they have been stitched over & buttons removed.
In overall excellent condition & a very good mannequin size there is one area of what appears to be burn damage to the interior left side front & also in a small area of the lower hem. (Both pictured ).
Very difficult to find 1939 dated examples of the panzer wrapover.
