WW2 German Blue MP40 Magazine Pouch 1943

An MP40 magazine pouch in lightweight blue canvas with brown leather fittings & clear 1943 date stamp to reverse.
A wide variety of MP40 pouches exist in differing materials & colours all according to the individual manufacturer & what was available to them. This example is in lightweight blue canvas showing heavy wear & evidence of magazines having been in them for some time after the war until discovered. Construction is classic with the brown leather typical of that seen on many such examples . Both belt loops to rear are originally stitched with one marked with three letter maker code & date ' fkx1943' . The eagle & swastika waffenamt inspection stamp can be seen under it .
