WW2 German M24 HE Stick Grenade - 1940

A very good deactivated M24 HE stick grenade with intact stencilled instructions to head & ink stamped waffenamt marking to top.
A good proportion of its original green factory paint remains to head & neck with the German instructions which translate to ' Before Use , Insert Detonator ' . Clear date of '6/40' June 1940. Wood handle marked 'RR 564 1940' for the firm Richard Rinker. Sprung loaded screw cap to base present with housing.
