WW2 German Fortress Ammunition Box - 1940 Dated

Rare original German fortress ammunition box for the MG34.
A very large amount of its original factory Luftwaffe blue grey paint remains . These well designed containers reduced the weight of a loaded belt by way of an internal shelf system in order to prevent malfunction of the Mg34 belt feed when firing.
