WW2 German Apple Green M35 Double Decal Army Helmet

WW2 German apple green double decal helmet complete with chinstrap.
This helmet has remains of its national tricolour shield to right side with early army decal to left. Showing moderate service wear to the paint of the shell the swastika was covered in the postwar period this having been later revealed by its collector owner. Underside of rim marked ' ET64' with an apparent lot number of '3123' . The soldiers name ' Koster' can still be seen with further details written by the soldier erased. Another area on the underside of the rim also had a name this having been removed also. Leather liner in good condition with early unreinforced aluminium liner band undamaged. All three liner pins undisturbed. Chinstrap 1937 dated with maker name , there is a collector repair to the leather on left side where the leather had torn through age.
