WW2 German M42 Army/Waffen SS Helmet

A German M42 non decalled helmet as worn by members of the army & waffen-ss in the mid to late war period.
Still in its mostly intact factory slate grey paint to inside & out all three liner pins are totally original to the helmet & never been out. Underside of rear rim gives us the maker code & size 'ckl62' with partially legible lot number. Zinc liner band is tight although upon careful examination I am able to see its date of 1943. Original tightening cord present. Finally the chinstrap is supplied on the helmet as it was found this is marked to a Chemnitz maker with date 1940. Buckle is in steel .
