WW2 German Luftwaffe M40 Helmet

An exceptionally good M40 single decal Luftwaffe helmet complete with original chinstrap.
This 'SE64' helmet was brought back from NW Europe by an American soldier who has written his details on the leather liner. These are still legible in part.
Finished in luftwaffe blue factory paint throughout the second pattern decal is approx 95% intact with all liner pins original & undisturbed. Interior is fitted with a zinc liner band which is tight to the shell. The liner is still supple with what appears to be some dark staining in places. Chinstrap has a grey painted steel buckle with maker name & date 'Schiele,Loburg 1940'.
