WW2 German M36 Infantry NCOs Tunic
An M36 four pocket combat tunic with NCO tress to collar & white piped shoulder boards for an Oberfeldwebel.
Difficult to find early M36 tunics that have not had extensive tailoring however this example retains its lower bellows pockets in their original unstitched format & three holes to each side of waist front & back for equipment hooks. Dark green collar has NCO tress to its lower edge with green backed early collar patches both having white litzen for branch of service Infantry. Breast eagle also of the early dark green backed pattern & totally correct for this period. Collar patches both machine stitched & professionally applied with breast eagle neatly handstitched in place. Both shoulderboards bear NCO tress with double rank pips to each denoting rank of Oberfeldwebel . Interior lining in typical tan cotton twill with Dice stamped size markings & film company stamps to rear.
A good field worn tunic there are a few small holes in places that have been stitch repaired as was commonly done. Perfect for mannequin the M36 tunics becoming hard to find now .
