WW2 German Officer Modified Equipment Y Straps

Interesting pair of the mounted issue Y straps that have had equipment D rings fitted to the shoulders & rear pack straps similar to the dismounted version .
Most likely a modification carried out by an active infantry officer all fittings & leatherwork is 100% wartime period. A leather makers logo can be seen to the reverse of one strap this most likely being the frim who carried out the work.
