WW2 German Single Decal Kriegsmarine Helmet

A textbook single decal Kriegsmarine M40 helmet by Quist complete with chinstrap & original liner.
This helmet has the 1940 Quist specific Kriegsmarine decal as referenced on Pg123 of ' The Helmet Decals of The Third Reich by Ken Niewiarowicz '. Quist were given a single contract to produce a quantity of Kriegsmarine helmets in 1940 all others being of 1940 vintage. Underside of helmet rim has the markings 'Q62' & 'DN110' these being an exact 'KM SD' match in the German Helmet Lot Numbers book by Brian ICE. Finished in grey textured paint to the exterior with all liner pins undisturbed & the liner never having been out of the helmet. Leather liner intact with original tightening cord still present . Chinstrap in good order with grey painted steel buckle.
