WW2 German 'Panzerarmee Afrika' Diary 1943
A British soldier bringback example of the classic German 1943 'Panzerarmee Afrika' diary with a few entries in German handwriting & on 9th May (Mai) the words in British ' Entered Tunis today 12 midday'.
Palm tree and swastika with “PANZERARMEE AFRIKA” and “Kalender 1943' to front. Contains coloured Afrika map , information on relevant plants , animals , Arabic language etc . There is also what appears to be a German soldiers kit list scribbled onto the back page of the Diary.
Used & clearly carried in the Desert until captured by a British soldier.
