WW2 German Waffen-SS Marked Rifle Sling ( Early Issue )

Dating from around the 1934 period this is an early SS contract rifle sling for units of the Waffen-SS armed with the G98 rifle. The K98 was not introduced until 1935 then replacing its predecessor the G98.
Sling is of typical outer edge lined checquered leather manufacture with 'L&F' marked buckle. A Totenkopf Deaths Head marking is stamped into the leather at the buckle end , please see images.
