WW2 German Infantry M36 Tunic & Shoulder Boards 1940

A superb German M36 combat tunic to an infantry Oberfeldwebel ( Senior Sergeant ).
This is the pattern of tunic worn during the early campaigns of 1940 by the German army its distinctive greener hue of these early years much evident here. With white on dark green backed breast eagle & universal collar tabs these were seen from around 1940 onwards. Both tabs appear to be original to the tunic the breast eagle is machine stitched on. Both shoulder boards are matching in their outer appearance & have NCO tress & two pips each signifying rank of Oberfeldwebel. All buttons present to front fly , pockets & cuffs . To interior of tunic the dice stamped markings give a date of August 1940. All three of its original pressed card collar liner buttons are present to underside of collar with one to underside of lapel. Award loops for one award to left chest pocket. Tunic has been slighty shortened by a tailor hence the two equipment holes to front on each side , this was commonly done as it was a fashion of the time to wear them slightly shortened if permitted , in this case a senior sergeant who was probaly at liberty to do it . Just a couple of small pin prick holes in places other than that it is in quite excellent condition.
