WW2 German Gas Mask & Canister 1944

Mid to late war issue German gas mask with original carrying straps & Fe41 filter.
Coming with a set of spare lenses the rubber of the M38 mask is good & supple with blue painted snout warning the user that the metal used was magnetic & could effect certain instruments like compasses. A very high proportion of the original factory green paint remains to the canister . The date 41 can be seen to filter with '44' to gas mask snout. The short carrying strap has rubber reinforcement bearing marking 'ebd43' .
